Club Guidelines?

In order to facilitate the efficient running of theclubnetwork, guidelines have been put into place, some of these include:

• Main sports opt out - If your club is over subscribed in one main sport (The main sports include tennis, squash, badminton, golf, table tennis, bowls, racketball, and swimming), or temporary maintance work is being carried out, then it is possible to remove a sport from theclubnetwork listing. Visiting members will no longer be able to use this facility at your club. However this impacts on your members. Because theclubnetwork works on a quid pro quo basis, it automatically limits your members access to that particular sport at other clubs. Under these conditions it is advisable to contact your members should you change one of the main sporting facilities.
• Security - To check that visiting members are valid theclubnetwork members, a membership card will be issued to individuals who register. As an added security measure an online checking system has been put in place for clubs to use. It is advisable that this is checked before accessing visiting members - whether they have a valid membership card or not.
• Limited access - Clubs may limit access to visiting members via their control panel under 'My Account'. A default setting of 'unlimited' visits has been set, but clubs can change this to a minimum 5 visits per year. Also a register to keep track of visiting members is also online, under 'My Account' and 'Visiting Members'.
• Access - Some clubs do not have administration staff. If this is the case then please could you provide information, upon registration, for allowing access to visiting members, to pay for a court, or to use the booking system.
• Minimal admin required - most of the administration is completed online, and is very simple and easy to use, with instructions available. However if you do have any questions then we will be happy to help.
• First Years Membership FREE - After the first years FREE membership there is no obligation to continue the membership. However with the increased income generated and the additional members attracted to your club, we feel confident that we can deliver the results you demand.
